Gardens galore! That’s what the client wanted, in order to soften the hard lines of the garage and the house—and she wanted a walkway, too. Prior to hiring All Pro Landscaping, the family used to walk through the garage or on the lawn to get to the front door. For this aging home in the Toronto East – Scarborough neighbourhood of Midland Park, this landscape design gave it a fresh new look, taking it from a few concrete patio slabs and no step at the front entrance, to a meandering walkway and miniature courtyard between the garage and the house; and, of course, the garden beds. A few years later, All Pro Landscaping continued the project to the side of the house and into the back yard.

This exquisite home, located in the Lawrence Park neighbourhood of Toronto, was greatly enhanced by an extensive redesign of its surrounding landscape elements on all four sides of the house. The dramatic impact of the landscaping design at the front of the property carries into the more private spaces at the south side and the back of the house.

Landscape design included: 1,000 square feet of interlocking pavers for driveway and walkway; eight natural stone 6-feet-wide steps; 12 natural stone 4-feet-wide steps beside garage; 120 tonnes of armor rock for retaining walls and terraced gardens; new sod for front lawn.
